CBSE Requests Schools to Host NIOS Public Exams in Oct-Nov 2025 – Check Full Details

CBSE has urged affiliated schools to conduct the NIOS public examination scheduled for October-November 2025. These respective schools will be registered as NIOS examination centers for the smooth conduct of the exam.

NIOS Examination Center 2025: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has urged affiliated schools to become NIOS examination centers for the exam scheduled for October-November 2025. The board has issued an official notification addressed to school heads, urging them to become National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) examination centers. The notification highlights that NIOS conducts examinations twice a year for classes 10 and 12, along with vocational courses. To facilitate the examination process, the schools will be converted into examination centers.

"Each year, NIOS uses the services and infrastructure of CBSE-affiliated schools to conduct its exams. "The next NIOS public examinations are scheduled for October/November 2025," the notice states, according to press reports.

To facilitate connection with the testing center, schools should visit the official website, exams.nios.ac.in, and register as a testing center. The registration process is as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official NIOS website: exams.nios.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the "Test Center" tab

Step 3: Click on the "Register Now" tab and register as a test center for the NIOS 2025 exam.

The board has asked schools to intensify their efforts to ensure the smooth conduct of the exam. "Your support will enable NIOS to successfully conduct its public examinations," the official notification states.
